At Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank, we believe that everyone deserves to experience joy and warmth during the holiday season. Our "Adopt a Family" program aims to bring smiles to the faces of families facing financial difficulties. It's a chance to spread kindness and make a tangible difference in the lives of those less fortunate in our community.

Why Participate in Adopt a Family?

By participating in our Adopt a Family program, you have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of families who are struggling to make ends meet. The program allows you to become a holiday hero by providing families in need with much-needed support, resources, and gifts. It's an experience that fills both the giver and the receiver with joy and gratitude.

How Does Adopt a Family Work?

Our program is designed to be simple and rewarding. Here's how it works:

  1. Signup: Visit our website and sign up to participate in the Adopt a Family program. Fill out a form with your contact information and preferences to ensure a personalized experience.
  2. Family Matching: Our dedicated team will match you with a local family in need based on your preferences and the family's specific needs. You will receive detailed information about the family, including their size, ages of children, and any specific requests or needs they may have.
  3. Gift Selection: With the information provided, you can start purchasing gifts for the family. Consider their preferences, hobbies, and needs when selecting items. Remember that even small gestures can have a big impact.
  4. Gift Delivery: Once you've collected the gifts, drop them off at our designated collection centers. We will ensure they are safely delivered to the family in time for the holiday season. If preferred, you can also request to deliver the gifts personally to experience the joy firsthand.
