Your Role as a Class A Tractor Trailer Driver

As a Class A Tractor Trailer Driver at Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank, you will play a crucial role in our mission to combat hunger and provide support to individuals and families in need. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of food and supplies to our partner agencies and communities in Phoenix.
  • Operating and maintaining tractor-trailer vehicles in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Loading and unloading food items, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Maintaining accurate records of shipments and completing relevant paperwork.
  • Adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Coordinating with our warehouse team for efficient logistics.
  • Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements for the Role

To be considered for the position of Class A Tractor Trailer Driver, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Valid Class A CDL license: You must possess a valid and unrestricted Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  2. Experience: Previous experience as a Class A Tractor Trailer Driver is preferred.
  3. Good driving record: A clean driving record with no major violations.
  4. Physical fitness: The ability to safely lift and move heavy food items, as well as handle physical demands of the role.
  5. Reliability and punctuality: We expect our drivers to be reliable and punctual for scheduled deliveries.
  6. Strong work ethic: Our drivers should demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to our mission.
