Job Overview

As a Benefits Enrollment Specialist - Bilingual at Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with enrolling in various benefits programs. Your expertise in both English and another language will enable you to effectively communicate with diverse populations and ensure everyone has access to the resources they need.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with enrollment in benefits programs, including SNAP, Medicaid, and other relevant programs.
• Educate clients on program eligibility requirements, application processes, and necessary documentation.
• Provide personalized guidance throughout the enrollment process, offering support and answering any questions or concerns.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with community partners and agencies to stay informed about changes in benefit programs and access available resources.
• Attend training sessions and stay updated on policy changes to provide accurate, current information to clients.
• Advocate for clients and identify additional resources or services that may benefit their overall well-being.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual fluency in English and another language is essential for this role.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively assist clients and convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Knowledge of benefits programs and eligibility criteria, staying informed about updates and changes.
