About the Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank

The Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank is a dedicated organization in the Community and Society - Philanthropy category, striving to alleviate hunger and provide assistance to families and individuals in need. With our commitment to long-term solutions, we aim to create a community where no person goes hungry.

Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

Join us on May 13th for our annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, an event that brings together individuals, businesses, and organizations to help make a difference in our community. This food drive is a collaborative effort between the Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank, the United States Postal Service, and the National Association of Letter Carriers, all working together to combat hunger.

Supporting Our Community

With the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, we aim to collect non-perishable food items that will be distributed to local families and individuals in need. By participating in this event, you are directly contributing to the well-being of your community. Together, we can make a significant impact on reducing hunger and food insecurity.

How to Participate

To participate in the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, simply leave your non-perishable food donations in a bag near your mailbox on May 13th. Your local letter carrier will collect the donations as they deliver your mail. It's a simple and convenient way to make a difference. Remember, every donation counts!

What to Donate

When selecting food items to donate, consider choosing nutritious options that can provide sustenance for those in need. Some suggested items include:

  • Canned vegetables and fruits
  • Canned meats and fish
  • Dry beans and rice
  • Peanut butter
  • Pasta and pasta sauce
  • Cereal and oatmeal
  • Baby food and formula

Volunteer Opportunities

In addition to food donations, we also welcome volunteers to assist in the collection and sorting of donated items. If you're interested in volunteering on May 13th, please contact us to get involved. Your time and support are immensely valuable in creating positive change within our community.

The Impact of Your Contribution

By participating in the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive and donating food items or your time, you are directly impacting the lives of individuals and families who are struggling to put food on the table. Your generosity provides nourishment and hope to those who need it most, creating a better community for all.

Together, Let's Stamp Out Hunger

Join us on May 13th and be part of the solution. Together, we can make a significant impact on hunger in our community. Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to creating a world where no one goes hungry.
